È un’arte che ha una forte spinta verso il futuro e che esalta il capitalismo portandolo alle estreme conseguenze e mostrandolo per quello che è: uno zombie. Per questo motivo la vaporwave non può essere definita anticapitalista, piuttosto è accelerazionista.
